Established in 1997 under the name "Seçkin College," our school has been a pioneer in quality education in its region since its inception, becoming a respected institution that serves as an example for the education community. Thanks to its modern and success-oriented educational approach, it has quickly earned a distinguished place among the leading schools in the region.

Today, Namık Altaş College is a well-established educational institution encompassing kindergarten, primary, middle, and high school levels, preparing its students for the future with a holistic approach. Since 2000, it has been a significant educational center that consistently raises the academic achievement rankings of our city, particularly through its outstanding success in placing students in science high schools and universities. With 17 provincial first-place rankings and numerous national rankings in university entrance exams, it has become an educational brand in Ordu.

Our school, which moved to its modern campus in the 2010-2011 academic year, offers a learning environment where our students can freely express themselves in science, art, and sports, with classrooms equipped with all the possibilities of technology and spacious living areas. This development process has further strengthened our institution under the name "Private Altaş College".

Namık Altaş College has the distinction of being the first and only international Cambridge School in the Black Sea Region. Thanks to the International Cambridge Program, implemented alongside the Ministry of National Education curriculum, our students have the opportunity to receive an internationally recognized Cambridge High School Diploma in addition to their national high school diploma. This dual diploma system allows us to cultivate students who can compete on a global scale.

As of the 2017-2018 academic year, our school has been renamed "Namık Altaş College" to honor the memory of our late founder, Namık Altaş, who dedicated his life to charity and education and was deeply devoted to Ordu. This name further enhances the values, vision, and educational philosophy of our institution.

As of the 2022 academic year, our first graduates from the Cambridge Curriculum have begun their studies having won significant scholarships from top-tier universities around the world. To date, our graduates have received acceptance from over 700 universities, primarily in the USA and the UK.
